A slightly better picture of me with my fiancee, Sarah. I still look
dazed...but, she has that effect on me.
It's a rare day that you see me with the microphone in use on a ProSet!
I'm having fun on 15 meters during the 2003 CQ WW SSB contest at the
W0AIH superstation in Wisconsin.
Paul has an Icom IC-765 with an Alpha 87 feeding a variety of antennas on
15, including my favorite, the sprayable 5/5/5/5.
My latest ham radio project: refurbishing a Kenwood TS-930SAT. I removed
a keyer (yellow) that was wired to the RF gain control (!!) and added the W6NL
power supply modifications (red). The radio has dual 2.1 kHz Inrad SSB
filters, dual 250 Hz Kenwood CW filters, and a PIEXX board. Eventually, I
plan to replace the CW filters with the Inrad 400 Hz model.
