Hi – as I came across your MATLAB examples of raytracing: I am very interesting in the code. I feel that being a most valuable tool for illustrating different “modes”, not commonly shown in ham radio textbooks. 73 Nils DK8OK
Hi Nils. The raytrace code has some bugs and is not the best, but I can send you a copy. It is a basic toy code for playing. For the magneto-ionic modes, it needs a geomagnetic field model. I use IGRF that I call with a MEX interface.
